Why we built Blip
Most dropshipping products fail before the first ad ever runs — the margin was too thin, the demand was fading, or the market was already flooded. The information to catch that exists, but it's spread across marketplace pages, spreadsheets and trend tools, and checking it by hand is slow. By the time a beginner finishes researching one product, the trend has often moved on.
Blip exists to collapse that research into seconds. Instead of ten open tabs, you paste a keyword or an AliExpress link and get a single, data-backed read on whether a product is worth your money.
How the buy/test/skip verdict works
Every verdict is built from real data, not opinion. For each product, Blip gathers and weighs four independent signals, then summarizes them into one call:
Proven & rising interest
Real AliExpress order volume (has it sold?) combined with live search demand across 20 countries (is interest still rising, or already fading?).
Room to profit after ads
The lowest reliable AliExpress price, so you can see whether a healthy 2.5–3× markup would still cover advertising and leave profit.
Validated, not saturated
How many sellers push the same product and how crowded the market already looks — some competition is healthy, too much is a warning.
One clear call
The signals are summarized into BUY TEST or SKIP, with the reasoning shown so you can judge it yourself.
Where our data comes from
- Product data — prices, discounts, ratings, order counts and competing sellers come from AliExpress via its official affiliate API.
- Demand trends — live search interest compared across 20 of the biggest dropshipping markets, so demand is read where you can actually run ads, not just globally.
- The verdict — an AI model reasons over those real figures with a strict, anti-guessing prompt, and returns a plain-language read.
Everything is refreshed continuously, and results are shared across users so the tool stays fast and completely free.
Independent, and how we stay free
Blip is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by AliExpress, Amazon or Google — we only reference those names to describe what the data is about.
Product links on Blip are AliExpress affiliate links: if you buy after clicking one, AliExpress may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you. That's how the tool stays free. Crucially, this never affects scores, rankings or verdicts — the numbers are the numbers, whether or not you ever click a link.
What Blip is — and isn't
- Is: a fast, data-driven filter to shortlist products worth testing, and to skip the ones that never had a chance.
- Isn't: a guarantee of profit or financial advice. Marketplace data can be imperfect, and no tool can promise a product will sell. Always validate a shortlisted winner with a small, cheap test before scaling.
